Quality Improvement Activities

 



2022-23

1. Commenced a Coaching Centre for Competitive Examination Training.  

2. Conducted SWOC Analysis of the College.  

3. Completed 2 open stages and Tribal Study Centre & Heritage Museum.   

4. Participated in NIRF. 

5. Submitted AQAR for the year 2021-22. 

6. Continued the practice of documentation and information dissemination through blogs and other social media platforms. Further, the practice of keeping a consolidated list of programmes and events started. 

7. Implemented all the recommendations given by the NAAC peer team in 2016. 


2021-22

1. AQAR 2019-20 and 2020-21 were uploaded.  

2. Reports of Feedback from various stakeholders were analysed and prepared suggestions. 

3. Conducted Staff Awareness and Interaction Sessions on PAAMS.  

4. Encouraged the use of ICT in various teaching and learning activities. 

5. Conducted the Merit Day 2021-22. 

6. An induction programme for First Year Students was conducted. 


2020-21

1. Introduced Google Classroom as LMS for effective teaching and learning processes. 

2. Framed an Online Teaching Policy for the College. 

3. For easy alumni tracking, Department level WhatsApp groups of batches were created. 

4. Launched a module in the College Academic Management System (PAAMS) to record necessary details of online classes conducted. 

5. Updated the OBE structure in PAAMS. 

6. Conducted online ICT training sessions for the staff.



2019-20

1. An outcome-based education Cell was formed, appointed a coordinator. Course outcomes, Programme outcomes and programme-specific outcomes were redefined and prepared, uploaded relevant details in the College website.

2. Pavanatma Academic and Administrative Management Software (PAAMS) upgraded to include more modules.

3. Started a Coaching Centre for providing Competitive Exam Coaching within the campus for the benefit of students and the local community.

4. Started skill development programmes in (i) DTP and Printing Technology and (ii) Business Accounting and Taxation under the Community College.

5. Started a practice of giving financial assistance to the staff to attend faculty development programmes in other institutions.



2018-19

1. Construction of indoor stadium 

2. Participation and management of flood relief camp 

3. Financial support for Infrastructure development, scholarship 

4. Annual gathering to choke out the plan of infrastructure development 

5. Review of the disciplinary policy of the institution

6. Annual Spiritual Animation programme 

7. Training programme for technical Staff

8. Training on ICT. 

9. Awareness Programme on prevention of sexual harassment at the workplace 

10. Encouraged the teaching community of the college to undertake research projects as well as to pursue research as per the available norms. 

11. Encouraged the departments to start new need-based short-term courses such as diplomas, certificates, etc. 

12. The Career Guidance Cell started a PSC /Civil service coaching centre in the campus.
